Coffee Babies....

This post is long overdue. A lot has transpired during the summer vacation. Who knew that my May would be a blast? Anyhow this is about my babies, my coffee babies. I have to admit that I started blogging because of ‘him’. Para akong grade school girl lang na gustong mag Diary bigla dahil may crush na siya. I wanted to keep a record of everything that happened each time we’re together. Ganun lang. Click here and there, and I discovered other people’s blog. Basa dito basa dun. Hanggang sa makahanap ako ng mga blogs na talagang nakaka-adik. Others found my blog. May mga nagtiyagang magbasa. Yung iba sobrang bored siguro nag comment pa. Hehehe (joke lang). Ayun, masaya pala mag blog. You get to learn from other people’s thoughts. You gain friends, virtually at first. Then you meet them in person and realized that they are real. Na hindi sila aliens. Hihihihi. Now I blog for a lot of reasons. Hindi nalang dahil sa ‘kanya’.

I was with my friend Ez the first time (April 3) I met Herbs. A boy who writes and expresses his thoughts so well that people find his mind to be way ahead of his years. A 16-year old boy who has a lot of insecurities and brave enough to admit them. He reminds me of myself when I was his age, pero ugali lang. Mas maganda ako sa kanya eh, hahahaha. Echoz. We had an early dinner in a sports grill in greenbelt then watched Monsters vs. Aliens which was really good. Then spent sometime in Bed Space dancing around cutie high schoolers to the music of the worst DJ ever (sabi ni Herbs yan, ker ko ba basta magpatugtog siya ng Rihanna keri na).

Two days later, he invited me to another coffee date, this time with three other bloggers. Victor, CB, and ParteeBoy. Herbs was already in Kopiroti (Columns) when I got there. He was toying with his dslr. He took some pics (that he sent to me days later, photoshoped) of me while we were waiting for the other boys. Victor and CB came together. Herbs introduced us to each other. Victor, who’s an Ilocano like me had the most georgeus hair I’ve seen in a long time. Bagsak kasi, tapos parang ang lambot lambot pa. I was a heart beat away from asking him if I could touch it. Hahahaha. Kaso baka mag freak out ang loko. Malakas pa magtrip. When I asked him kung saan siya nagwo-work, sagot niya Mcdonalds. Naniwala naman ako. CB, the boy with the infectious smile and giggle. Galing pa magkuwento, minsan may action at demo pa. Hahahaha. Nakakaloka. It didn’t take long before Parteeboy arrived. Mukhang galing sa gym, may dala-dalang sports bag. Love ko na agad siya. Sabi kasi niya I look younger daw kesa sa tunay kong edad. Hahaha. Plus he’s got perfect skin. Gusto ko tuloy biglang laklakin ang mga bote ng pure white na naka stock sa bahay ko.

More coffee, more fun mode. We spent time talking about some old posts from our blogs, and posts from other bloggers. We talked about unforgettable lines from the best local movies. Ito yung part na nagkwento si CB regarding a scene from Virgin Island ba yun? May kasamang demo kaya tawa kami ng tawa, muntik pa akong malaglag sa upuan. Siempre hindi mawawala ang usapang boylets.

Dahil nagugutom na ang baby gurl namin na si Herbs, transfer kami sa pinakamalapit na Mcdonalds. The boys ordered happy meals. Characters kasi from Monsters vs. Aliens ang featured toys. We spent another hour of talking about religion and a strange but interesting way to fight ageing (courtesy of Victor) na gusto kong subukan, kaso scarry, baka mategi ako. Hahahahaha. Pero powerful daw talaga.

All in all, it was a very insightful and fun night. One I will remember for a very long time. Masaya ako na nakilala ko kayo. Kaya tara na, kape na.
